If you’re not sure how much meat to order, ask our butcher for advice. Here are some guidelines:

  • When Meat Is the Main: From 1/4 -1/2  pound (4-8 ounces) per person; up to 3/4 pound (12 ounces) for bigger appetites and those who love leftovers.
  • When Meat Is Just a Part of the meal eg pasta or curry - plan for 1/4 to 1/3 pound (four to six ounces) per person.
  • Meat Sandwiches - 20z (60g) of cooked meat per person should be plenty.
