Chandler & Dunn Ltd is a family farming company with Fruit, arable and Livestock enterprises.
We aim to produce quality products that can be sold locally thus providing consumers locally sourced food with known traceability.
Fruit Enterprise
A range of Apples including Cox, Gala, Jazz, Egremont Russet, Bramley and a range of Pears; Conference, Comice and Concorde.
Chandler & Dunn have approximately 3000 tonnes of specialist storage. Fruit is stored on farm and then sent to specialist packers who supply the main UK supermarkets.
Arable Enterprise
A range of arable crops are grown including Wheat, Barley, peas, beans, Oil seed Rape, linseed and potatoes.
Potatoes are stored and graded on site and are sold to local merchants for fresh market consumption.
Livestock Enterprise
Chandler & Dunn have a pedigree Sussex herd of cattle, comprising 90 single suckler cows. Most of the progeny from the cows is sold via the companie's own on farmbutchers shop. The Company also has a flock of 450 Kent ewes which are best suited to the marshland grazing found on the farm. Much of the lamb produced from this flock will be sold via our own butchers shop.
Goldstone Butchers
The butchers based on the farm takes animals produced on the farm. This allows known tracebility and transport is kept to a minimum.
