At Chandler & Dunn we like to think that farming is more about more than just long-term economics, Government strategies or EEC policies.  Our two families have an agricultural tradition in the area that’s now into its 5th generation – and with seven members actively involved in the business there’s also a great future ahead.  Currently that’s a combination of more than 270 years of hard learned, hands-on experience!

As custodians of the countryside we have been concerned that the British rural landscape has seen many changes – not always for the better.  Running a mixed farm producing fruit, cereals, potatoes as well as a Pedigree herd of Sussex cattle (first registered in 1943) and a flock of Romney cross Suffolk sheep gives us a broad overview of what can be done and what an ever more discerning public demands.

Recently there have been worries about the quality of many foodstuffs but at Goldstone our selected range of quality meats is guaranteed locally reared and prepared to the highest standards.  Indeed, to back up our claims the farm is approved under the Farm Assured British Beef and Lamb scheme – FABBL.  Above all with the whole process locally based we can also offer the best prices.  So now, not only can you get the finest flavoured meat, it is fully traceable and will give you the best value for money.

Local Farm Fresh Meat

  All the meat we sell is reared locally to the highest standards

  The beef is produced from our pedigree herd of Sussex Cattle

  The lamb comes from our traditional Kentish Romney Marsh Sheep

  All animals are naturally reared by their mothers

  Travel time and stress is kept to the minimum

Thursdays from 9 am to 5pm

Fridays from 9 am to 5pm

Saturdays from 9 am to 1.15 pm
